The Buyer Vault is an invite-only network for real estate buyers. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you request access or use your member profile, why we collect it, and what we will and will not do with it.

Information you give us directly. When you request access we ask for your first and last name and your email address. You may also choose to give us your phone number, your company name and website, the property types you buy, the states you target, your budget range, and your realistic closing timeline. If you build a buy box in the member portal, we store the criteria you enter — property types, states, counties, ZIP codes and price range.
Information from a sign-in provider. If you sign in with Google, Google gives us your name, your email address and your profile picture, and confirms that the email address belongs to you. We do not receive your Google password, your contacts, your calendar, your files or anything else in your Google account. Other sign-in providers we may add in future return a similar, limited set — and where a provider offers to share more than we need, we do not ask for it.
Information collected automatically. When you submit a form, our server records the time, the page you submitted from, and the IP address and country the request came from. We use a small, essential login cookie to keep you signed in; it stores a signed session identifier, not your personal details. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels on this site.
If you give us your phone number we may text you about deals that match your buy box. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not remove you from the Vault or from email.
We do not sell your information, and we do not rent or trade it. We do not share your details with other members, and we do not hand your contact information to other buyers, sellers or marketers. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles.
We share information only with the service providers that make the Vault work — the email service that delivers our messages, the hosting and infrastructure our site runs on, and the customer system where we keep our records — and only so they can perform that job for us. If the law requires it, such as a valid subpoena or court order, we may be compelled to disclose information; and if the business is ever sold or merged, member records may transfer with it.
We keep your information for as long as you are a member and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can honor opt-outs, meet our record-keeping obligations and defend against legal claims. You can ask us to delete your information at any time and we will do so unless we are legally required to keep it.
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete your account and its data. You can unsubscribe from email using the link in any message, and stop texts by replying STOP. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act — we honor those requests regardless of where you live. Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Sign-in sessions use a signed, HTTP-only cookie, and credentials for the services we rely on are held as encrypted secrets rather than in our code. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we limit what we collect in the first place, which is the most reliable protection there is.
The Vault is for real estate buyers and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you directly.
